That’s me shooting for APTN National News in British Columbia in 2018.
Rewind a few decades to when I was 20 and didn’t yet realize I was creative—until a cheap second-hand camera changed my life. It was like MAGIC and it still is! Looking through that lens made my mind dance, inspiring me to create images and tell stories of all kinds.
I’m high energy and passionate about learning, which led me to earn diplomas and certificates in Television Broadcasting, Independent Film & Television, and Photography. Those foundations helped me evolve and thrive in an ever-changing media industry. Adapting to new technologies and roles doesn’t scare me, but sitting still sure does.
In my career, I have travelled across Canada working on major TV productions, news programs, and media projects. I have written and produced biographies for MuchMoreMusic, shot breaking news for CTV and APTN, created digital strategy for successful businesses and organizations, and captured all kinds of still images and video for television, print, and social campaigns.
After living in Ontario for most of my life, my passion for nature and wildlife pulled me to British Columbia. Today, a growing part of my work focuses on environmental storytelling and conservation. Whether I’m filming along B.C.’s coast, interviewing Indigenous community leaders, or crafting a press release that sparks national attention, my goal is always the same: to tell stories that deepen understanding and inspire action.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m always open to new projects, new collaborations, and new adventures.
